I've been asked a lot about the future of series in general. As mentioned in the last post, there are four separate ones going on right now. I haven't abandoned any of them, they are just continuing slowly. I get new ideas whole the time and want to make standalone captions while the ideas are still fresh. My plan for the next year is to concentrate more on the series so that I can finish them. I don't have too much spare time so that won't happen very fast. But I'll try!

Updates!

Seems like 2016 is coming to a close. And what a weird year we have had!

In the past few weeks the numbers of my blog have just exploded! On deviantART, totemscaptions has gained over 100 new followers and the total is now close to 400. Yesterday and the day before yesterday the daily pageview count reached 300, which it has never done before, and the pageviwe total is now over 30,000. The captions in my gallery have been viewed for over 200,000 times. The Blogger page in TOTEM's Captions also got over 1,000 pageviews in the past month, although it has been a bit more quiet. After all this, I of course want to, once again, thank you all lovely readers and commenters!

I also want to say a couple of words about the updated visual style of my blog and captions. As you might have notices, my newest caption, Potions Experimenting looks a bit different than the previous ones. I have changed the main font from Allerta to Roboto as it now looks a lot cleaner and clearer. There are also some minor changes in the placement of objects in captions and the colour scheme in the blog has been updated to look a bit nicer. I'd be glad to hear what you think about this new style.

One Year of Captioning Behind!

It has been one full year since I first started writing my own captions! Once again, I want to thank all of you, my wonderful readers, for all the support I've gotten. Thank you for the kind comments, thank you for the favourites. It's really been a great year!

I begun with the thought "I'll see where this goes. A few test captions can't hurt anybody. If this doesn't work out, I'll just leave without leaving a sign". Well, now I think I can say that it actually worked out. It's been a great joy to write these captions, and also to see you enjoy them as much as I do. So, there's absolutely no reason to quit now.

So far I've been writing on average one caption per week. That's not very much but I think that's what I'll also stick to in the future. I'm very strict about the quality of my captions, I only want to give you the very best I can. Because of that, I'm not a very fast when it comes to writing new captions. But again, I think it's only good for the captions, so there's no need to change anything.

What comes to the requests I've been getting, I've been working on them and if everything goes as planned, the next caption I upload will be a requested one. Time to get back to captioning!

I'm Amazed!

I just returned from a holiday trip, refreshed and ready to caption some more. Before I go back to writing, I want to write this short post to thank all of you guys!

What I first saw when I finally got back to a place with Wi-Fi was incredible! In deviantART, there were over 200 new notifications waiting to be read. After I had published the multiple pictures story "It's Not a Toy", I had gotten 22 new watchers and my captions had been added to favourites almost 200 times. I had also gotten some really kind comments and even a couple of requests/suggestions. In just one day (June 21st) people had viewed my deviantART page 149 times, and the captions itself had been seen by even more people. The readers of my Blogger page are a bit trickier to track as it's been a lot quieter there but I'm sure that there are also many people there that deserve these thanks. It's always nice to read your comments, your words fuel my fire and I find thousands of new inspirations. So, thank you - every single one of you!

And then, what comes to the requests/suggestions. I will be doing them, and I will be really glad if I get even more of them. I'm just not the fastest one when it comes to producing new captions, so it might take a while! Feel free to tell me what you are interested in and I'll see what I can do with it. The more precise your idea is, the easier it is for me to start writing! But there is nothing wrong to just asking for more, lets say, captions about body hoppers or whatever.

Now I'll just say "thank you" one more time! Time to get back to captioning...

Now this became a really long caption... But I'll have to admit, also one of my favourites! I hope that you'll enjoy it, too. I have had the idea for this caption for quite some while now but I only started writing about it today.

Also, this is the very first caption where I have used a picture of a male person. I'd be very interested to hear what you think about it. If you like the idea of seeing more men in my captions, not just crying little boys but men of all ages, please let me know!
